I heard the interview with Nox about this on Ludology. Listening to the description of the gameplay, I kept thinking how great this would be on Smosh Games. Y'all should send a copy to the Smosh folks; I bet they'd play it for their millions of subscribers.

There has to be some mechanism by which I see skeets from folks I’m not following on the main feed, because I see them. *Something* is deciding for me that I “should” see those whether you call it “the algorithm “ or not.

Oh, wait, I see what you mean. I do wish there was a way to follow without implying support. During election cycles I tended to follow all the candidates on my ballot so I could see what they’re about and always found it annoying that following was seen as support.

Hopefully the assertion that blocking bad actors on Bluesky has more impact on “the algorithm” than it does on Twitter is accurate. I don’t know if it is, but that’s what folks were saying here.

Positano always makes me think of Diane Lane in Under The Tuscan Sun (which I’m sure sounds nuts to anyone familiar with Italian geography and unfamiliar with that film).
