It's just... so much, so disappointing, and so unsurprising at this point (the fan reaction, not the mask-drop). They can tolerate their Oshi expressing some """vaguely""" bigoted beliefs, but draw the line at anyone daring to make her feel even the slightest bit of guilt or shame or accountability

I'm always a little impressed that it could explore horrors of something like the Spartan Programs and conclude that it was a good, smart, and actually really cool thing that happened to those kids.

The actual devs have passion, and corps like MS are happy to redirect that into money makers slop. The kids that grew up going "Man, I'd love to work on a Halo game some day!" had a hell of a monkey paw.

For some reason, when I can I just click through dialogue, even if I know the writing is going to be good or have good voice work. Weirdly setting it to auto progress gets me to actually engage with it more, I can actively pause and look back at a line to try and understand it better

I get kinda bored with blank stares. I love a happy trance a lot, but any emotion in the trace, like surprise or confusion, really makes a hypno piece for me.
Also an awareness of the trance/possession/corruption. That's peak content. Like a twist on the phrase 'to be loved is to be changed'
