They were slightly beat in the 3rd period, but nowhere near what happened in the Tampa game.
They’re not only winning, but the underlying data is saying they’re performing — even getting some bad puck luck w/ goals — AND winning. It’s sustainable 👀

I’m not going to make any sweeping conclusions after one game.
There’s a *lot* to like under the hood, even though the scoreboard didn’t reflect it.
They outhit them, outshot them, the fancy stats heavily favor Detroit & this backs that up from an analytical standpoint.
