To appease consumers and egg producers, the Trump administration is going to define a dozen to now mean 10.
So a dozen eggs that now costs $4.99 will cost only $4.49 under the new definition of a dozen.
Consumers get a “dozen” eggs for $0.50 less and egg producers get $0.03 more per egg. Win/win!
