The Matt Lohmeier pick for Dep SECAF pisses me off. Dude lost his job for insubordination and now he will expect the service members to listen to him. F that dude. He has no business leading DAF. He can make his grift in the outrage machine.

Why would a college have an application deadline the same day as the hosuing deadline...but the school then tells you it will take 2-3 business days to apply for housing after acceptance. So dumb.

I wonder if the casting of Rand Al Thor in Wheel of Time purposely casted a Hayden Christensen/Anakin Skywalker look alike...to fore tell the light/dark internal struggle. Hard to watch Josh and not see Anakin.

So real question, if the President orders the military to invade Greenland, would they do it? 21-year vet here, and I would have laughed it off years ago, but who would stop them?

I just finished rewatching #WOT season 1&2 and started 3 tonight. I was a huge fan of WOT and even stuck with the books through the middle books slog. There was no way to make a TV version of the books, so I'm treating the show as an alternate version. And I kind of dig some of the changes.

Part of our therapy plan for my depressed teenager is to shield him a bit from negative stuff. He's always acted older than he is...but it dawned on me that I'm listening to news in the morning on the way to school...and it is depressing AF.

I'm bummed that season 2 of The Night Agent is so bad compared to the first. These weird flashbacks, the lack of chemistry for almost all the characters. And a plot that is dumb. Maybe I'll be surprised by the last 2 episodes...but Netflix probably doesn't need to make a season 3

With all of the recently fired top talent from DoJ and FBI...seems like we have a strong team of excellent lawyers and investigators that need something to do...time to flood the zone with legal cases. We've seen the Trump lawyers lose at a ridiculous rate. Game on.

I had this same concern during the last Trump Administration... They break so many things that when the real crisis hits, they will be staring around (like Ryan Day after loss #4 to Michigan). They will have no ability to react properly to the crisis.

Between Doggie (DOGE) complete disregard for cybersecurity or any security methods and the newly minted DNI, our adversaries are licking their chops. This will be the biggest foreign intelligence event in US history...God help us all.

My friend just told me the wildest, f@#$ing story about his three weeks in jail at the beginning of COVID. If he wrote it into a book, it would be a best seller. Never would have guessed.

Remember 2022 and 2023...me neither. That was awesome. I would lose any trivia about what the government did those years other than Infrastructure, Chips act, and Pact Act...but that was nice.
