The absurdity of using a child cancer survivor who got cancer from chemicals & wants to be a cop as your prop when you:
-Cut child cancer funding
-Gut the EPA
-Deregulated sewage in our water
-Pardoned J6 insurrectionists who killed cops

Tesla earned $2.3 billion in the United States in 2024.

You'd think it paid a lot in taxes, right?

Well it paid precisely $0 in federal income taxes last year.

You want waste and fraud? Look at what some big corporations and the rich are getting away with.
Tesla Paid Zero Federal Income Tax in 2024, Despite $2.3 Billion in Income
This brings Tesla’s average tax rate over the past three years to 0.4 percent.

NEW AND GREAT: A federal judge early Saturday AM blocked Elon Musk's DOGE from accessing Treasury Department records and ordered they MUST immediately DESTROY all copies of material downloaded from Treasury Department systems. Hoping Musk violates so he is put in jail! www.npr.org/2025/02/08/g...
Federal judge blocks DOGE from accessing sensitive U.S. Treasury Department material
The case, filed in federal court in New York City, alleges the Trump administration allowed Musk's team access to the Treasury Department's central payment system in violation of federal law.

We did not have a FAA administrator to respond to the tragic crash last night in DC. Why? Because Elon Musk pushed the head appointed under Biden to resign after he fined SpaceX for failing to follow safety license requirements. www.theverge.com/news/603113/...
The FAA is facing a major crisis without a leader because Elon Musk pushed him out
FAA chief Michael Whitaker resigned earlier this month after facing criticism from Musk.

To recap, Trump:

-Forced out the FAA chief at Musk's insistence
-Imposed a hiring freeze that reportedly included air traffic controllers
-Fired the TSA head and gutted a key aviation safety committee
-Blamed the DCA crash on DEI

This is disastrous leadership.

I’m not sure what was worse: that Merrick Garland couldn’t bring himself to prosecute Trump on his own and felt he had to bring in a special counsel as cover, or that he waited so long to do it that Smith never got Trump inside a courtroom.

History won’t be forgiving to Garland.
Jack Smith resigns from DOJ
The special counsel's departure was disclosed in a court filing submitted Saturday afternoon to U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon.

Are we ready for an unelected oligarch to become third in the line of presidential succession?
Rand Paul becomes the first to call for Elon Musk to replace Mike Johnson as Speaker. Which, if you listened to my podcast Uncovered yesterday, you already knew was going to happen before it just happened.
