I think my daughter fears for her life if she were ever to touch an LLM.

AS SHE SHOULD.

You're not wrong!

But also I'm saving this for the next time you get super mad at someone saying "Liberals" when they mean "Some liberals."

Also, a lot of the time the third installment is supposed to be a conclusion - if not THE conclusion - and writing endings is hard. No sarcasm, even for excellent writers, writing endings is just hard.

...is there a downside?

I feel 97% certain that wall of self-contradictory text was generated by an LLM. It has that sycophantic aura they can never quite disguise.

NGL, there's a part of me that thinks he peaked with Meet the Feebles.

I shouldn't have been surprised but after all the Kirk canonizing, to see Trump saying "yeah, sorry they died, but really they kinda deserved it, right?" left me flabbergasted.

It's wild that I have to explain to people that I can be concerned about many different things while only talking about one of them at any given time.

Humans only have so much bandwidth and focus makes us more effective. This is hard to understand?

You know those big plastic cubic containers that are for gumballs/candy, large amounts of spices, flour, etc? I've seen those used for dice before, but never glass jars.

The math nerds/theater kids RPG divide goes all the way back to midwest/west coast factions at the very beginning of things. West coast gamers were *not* playing the same way as the Lake Geneva crew in the early days.

I was in a huge, unwieldy Exalted game once that was hard enough for the poor GM to keep moving - ten players is too many players - but on top of that one of my fellow players insisted on eating up everyone's precious time with extended "but I don't want to be a hero, I want to be a farmer" scenes.

Obligatory "by the time of Fate Core, it was just Fate, not FATE."

There will be so much litigation.

There's a type of player that wants to "solve" a game rather than play it, and quite frequently the needs/wants of that playerbase are actively detrimental to the "I enjoy actually playing this game" playerbase.
