Comic page. Zag's phone alarm rings indicating it's 7 in the morning, he sleepily mumbles "F-five...more minutes". He suddenly shoots up, throwing sleeping Hypnos off balance, exclaiming "Wait! It's today!". Hypnos finally tunes in, looking disheveled "Today? What's today? What time is it?", Zag hurriedly gets his bearings: "The party, Ny... your mom's party. I'm supposed to get the catering like now." Zag crawls out of the tree bush they were in, Hypnos follows: "Dope. You're coming? You should." Zag looks perplexed, "Uh...I don't think my dad..." he begins, but Hypnos cuts him off: "But I'll be so bored otherwise!" Zag chuckles, pulls out his phone and says "Alrighty." Hypnos pulls his sunglasses down: "Give me your number, I'll bother you to show up. Perfect! Prepare for onslaught of memes and pics of my drinks." he smiles. Zag laughs back, "Sounds like I should put this thing on 'silent' right away. I-I really do have to run." He runs across the park lawn and hops through the hedge to find his bike. "See ya later hottie!" Hypnos throws in his direction. He walks to a Poseidonbucks coffee shop and enters. "You cannot be bothering me here! This is an every-day problem with you, huh?", the woman at the counter is scolding a sad looking customer in line. Hermes is also waiting behind him, looking increasingly uncomfortable. Eurydice continues scolding the man in front of her "Actions beat intentions and I really don't want to hear how you couldn't get there on time. You've left me behind and didn't think twice, Orpheus!". Orpheus pipes up in defense: "Babe, I swear it just came out bad!" "Nope." - Eurydice cuts him off. "Please babe, all I think about is you, day and night." "Can't care." - she clips again. "I HAVEN'T PICKED UP MY BASS IN A MONTH!" Orpheus exclaims. Hypnos finally tunes in, standing behind Hermes "Oh my... This will be a wait won't it?". "They've been at it for 20 minutes already. Wanna go to the one across the street?" Hermes smiles back.

Zagreus takes the blunt offer and takes a massive hit, tearing up in the process: "I *cough* totally am." Hypnos laughs: "Have you tried not holding it in so much?". Suddenly someone screams "THE PARK CLOSES AT SUNSET!". Hypnos drops the blunt and pulls Zag in the direction of a nearby bush: "Shit, that's Athena. Come on bro, she said if she sees me - my ass is grass! Stop coughing!". Athena walks by with a flashlight, occupied by a phone conversation: "...I a literally off hours. Cleaning up dad's messes, but off hours, brother...You shouldn't be calling this number, you're not a part of the force anymore. I am not, and I repeat, looking for a purple Rolls-Royce tonight. Making me look like a fool - scaring teenagers." Zagreus holds his breath, watching the woman walk by. Hypnos is already fast asleep on Zag's shoulder, as the other sighs: "Well, I haven't camped in a while I suppose."

"Oh, how generous." - Hypnos places a dainty hand on his own chest, "So where is your hot ride?" he asks. "Right over there actually!" - Zagreus beams pointing to a red bicycle covered in metal band stickers. "You're fucking kidding me..." Hypnos deflates, but still proceeds to get behind Zagreus on the bike. They take off and Hypnos loses balance exclaiming "Whoa-a-a!", and Zagreus laughs "Ha-ha! Hold on!"

Charon sighs and takes off the diamond skull mask, and jokes: "So did you die?", but Hermes leans in to pull the man into a sweet kiss. "Here." he hands Charon's phone back - "Thanks again." Charon stares after him as the other enters the apartment building, his phone lights up and the man warmly smiles at it. The text message on the screen reads: "Sweet dreams, Boss" followed by a bird, a heart and a skull emoji.

"The club has these rules for a reason!" Ares's voice rings through his thoughts, followed by Zagreus' "The whole family is wack.". Despite this Hermes smiles to himself while clenching the earlier-gifted purple rose bouquet and thinks "But he's so tall. And handsome. Dita most definitely would!". Hermes turns the corner again and confidently struts toward Charon. "H-hi!" he stutters with a smile, "Wanted to say sorry about last night. I take all responsibility for the uh... incident. Oh! Thank you for the flowers! I'm leaving for the night, but...Maybe come again soon, yeah?". Charon towers over him, puffing heart shaped plumes of cigarette smoke. He leans closer "Need a ri...", and Hermes quickly blurts "SURE!", before the man can finish the question. Charon chivalrously opens the passenger door to his Rolls-Royce Sweptail and Hermes gets in with the biggest smile. The car starts and Hermes can't help but giggle with excitement.

You leaving already?". Hermes replies: "Didn't you say you know that guy from yesterday?". Zag chuckles "Uh...I know of him." "Come on. Give up the goss." Hermes bats his eyelashes at his cousin. "I actually intern for his family's company a few days a week." he starts, "I've gathered quite a legend for that whole crew. Nyx is like the largest real estate firm here, ran by the matriarch - even your dad won't mess with her. Their family has been running some underground pipeline for decades. It's almost like an unspoken law. But a few years back, some small gang thought that they could outplay that guy - Charon. He got shot in the face, his younger brother killed two men, they didn't even get their shit back - definitely brought tension into the family dynamic. It was a big scandal, but you'll never hear about it - that's how rich they are. But Charon recovered and went on a rampage. He single-handedly killed every member of that gang. And the legend goes that the only time you'll see what's under his mask is right before you die...". Zagreus takes a sip if his soda: "And that;s all I learned so far." Hermes, shocked, replies: "All of that...Sounds incredibly fake." He quickly rushes out of the door with "Okay, thanks, bye!" as Zag sits down and laughs: "Bye, coz. Always in such a rush."

Hermes asks, and Ares clips a short "No." Inside, Dionysus is liking photos on his phone at the bar when he greets Hermes with "Hey early Birdy.", the other replies with a smile and a wave "Hey Dio!". Hermes pokes through the dressing room door to Dita and Zagreus sporting a jacket with large letters spelling 'Security' on the back. "Hello!" he chirps, "Sup!" Zagreus replies, and Dita purrs "Darling." Hermes notices a large box with a bow on the table where Zagreus is sitting: "Oh wow! Who's that for?". Zagreus laughs: "You got fans, coz." and Dita confirms: "Open it, darling." Hermes pulls the bright pink bow off the gift to reveal a large bouquet of purple roses and a card with a small skull pictured on the inside. "Whoa!" he exclaims as he notices a small glittering wing charm attached to one of the flowers. "In some cultures purple roses mean love at first sight." - Dita smiles as she flips her hair. Concerned Zagreus examines the card - "The note is kinda ominous.", but Hermes is already taken with the shiny wing charm. Zagreus continues: "Hey coz. You know anything about that guy from yesterday?", Hermes is already attaching the charm to the pink choker he wears to perform - "Ah! Just look at this - it's so perfect!". Zagreus inquires again: "So you know nothing?". "Nope!" Hermes exclaims as he disappears behind a dressing room screen: "Zag, love, I got a big night - I need to get ready. Maybe tell me later, okay?".
