I see the 'i dont care about teaching, just let me do my fancy research'- type "outsourcing" that part to the chatbox (instead of to (underpaid) assistants 🙈), which is bad enough, but what are they doing letting the chatbox 'do' the 2 things they are paid to do 😭

I also think the poll itself (+the previous one) look good for the Greens already, and i would expect the next one to look even better after todays news.
(So the post looks needlessly desperate to me;
but i also am a data nerd and not the necessarily the target audience 🤷‍♀️)

Also waiting for FIFA to do something is a joke 😭
We all heard about the "Peace" Price.
We saw them being ok with playing in Russia, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

I did not learn about the 1936 Summer Olympics in school because they were fun and everyone wanted to watch them, but for the political role they played.

Sport is political, authoritarians know and use that.
FIFA knows and uses it.
We have to accept that, and act like it.

Is it not allowing Fans from certain countries to come?
Is it monitoring their social media on entry?
Is it kidnapping people and sending them to camps?
Is it federal agents killing innocent people?

oh wait, we already got all that

I want everyone that says 'more would have to happen' to publicly explain what exactly 'more' would be; so that they don't keep pushing that line.

If you want to reach out to any of them you can use the Bundestag's contact form or find their emails on their websites.

The German Delegation consists of 18 members of the Bundestag from CDU/CSU(EPP), SPD(SOC), AfD(ECPA), Greens(SOC) and the Left (UEL):

In the UK the @goodlawproject.bsky.social is countering with their own call of action:

URGENT 🚨 We have just one week to stop Sex Matters infiltrating a vote to ban conversion therapy.

We must stop them. Use our tool and tell the MPs to stand up for what's right ✊

Examples include the UK group 'sex matters' (which has already infiltrated the UK governments human rights watchdog) and the German so-called LGB Alliance.

Unfortunately anti-trans hate groups are encouraging people to reach out to members of their parliament to convince them of voting against the draft resolution.

They pretend to be organizations for women's or gay/lesbian rights, while their sole target is to take away trans peoples human rights.
January 24, 2026 at 3:33 PM
The recent increase in anti-trans rhetoric around the globe, especially of right wing politicians, might have eroded some of that support though.

In Germany a ban of conversion practices on children (+advertising) was implemented in 2020 by the previous CDU/CSU(EPP)+SPD(SOC) coalition.
(with FDP (ALDE); Greens (SOC) and the Left (UEL) abstained because the ban was too narrow; the AfD (ECPA) abstained, because it went 'too far')

The vote is important for the UK where the Labour government, despite promise, is still to introduce a ban.

Their track record on trans issues is concerning: pseudo-science trans healthcare, education guidelines, appointing a transphobic EHRC chair, and appalling comments from the prime minister.

The draft by Rapporteur @kateosbornemp.bsky.social (Labour (SOC), UK) was adopted unanimously by the Committee on Equality and Non-Discrimination in December.
