Really much of the reason the communist states lost the cold war is because the writing on the wall early on, tons of decent, failing economic models and a population that was against soviet troops sealed its fate in 1950's. Really the thing I'm most impressed about is how they lasted that long

Most of that is because the over centralized economies in eastern europe, you could argue if these states were less ideological, there would of been more decentralization and a large private sector but communists offcourse are against that. Really brings home which superior economic model there is

Agree with the things you said here, I myself had a hard time reading into some stuff communist tyranny caused, but I educated myself on it. I think the reason this isn't mainstream is because the optimism after 1989 viewed addressing this not necessary because it was "the end of history" anyway

Maybe this is because I was born and raised in western Europe but I never saw communism as inherently tyrannical and at certain times even flirted with communism when I became politically active, it has only been since 2022 that I became actively repulsive to communism

It's funny how dumb some of these talking points out to a European who knows his history about communism. Watching a Hakim or Second thought video is intertaining for how ridiculous it is or how concerning it is that they believe there own lies.

Doubtfull, considering it's all about Southern nationalism and a common cause against "Yankee incursion." Various states and various people support ICE for dumb reasons, not just the South. it's much more of an American problem as a whole.
