Social democratic parties always disappoint their supporters. ALP hasn’t shifted but works within a capitalist system & often forced to compromise & seek middle ground ie 2019 election defeat. Whitlam made progressive social reforms - hostile Senate/media doesn’t help. Seek out other info sources.
