Our “democracy” is a joke. What happened to our equal branches of government with their checks and balances? When did congress and the house of reps become cowards? When did blatant lies and propaganda, easily disproven, become “truth” just because it’s said repeatedly and with confidence?!

I’m so incredibly angry. Horrified. How are we, the American people, allowing history to repeat itself? I’m furious at our representatives. Is it greed? Threats? DO BETTER. Impeach! Put the whole administration and all these ICE thugs in jail! These illegal acts cannot be allowed to continue!

We need a leader. We need a MLK Jr. to rally around. We need someone to act as a symbol, to unite all the individual peaceful protests and really make a change. Who will it be? AOC? Cory Booker? You? Me? How do we unite as a country against fascism before it’s far too late?
