Today's fans do not have to barter for anime titles. But I wonder if they would be better off if they had to.
I use to trade Pokemon Cards to Comic Shops for bootleg copies of Escaflowne. I once saw a man thrown out a 2 story window over a game of Yu-Gi-Oh! He came back next week. You would never survive the times I lived in.
