And he also said, “And in a large degree, a lot of Democratic voters have been begging the Democrats to do, which is get out of this status quo, institutional thinking and make government more responsive and agile if you can.”
That’s why I think we need to get rid of the established Ds leadership

By replying to them, they feel validated. By blocking them and not acknowledging them, they feel insignificant and worthless, not worthy of any attention. I say, “sweep them with the broom of indifference.”

Awareness of it being an intentional bait to grab and incite you. Don’t empower them.

So, why bother? Invest your energy elsewhere.

Name calling is nonproductive and breaks constructive communication.

Intended or not, that’s how it was perceived. Communications is everything.

Many attempts to establish an effective third party have failed because they’ve been blocked by existing powers. The current Dem Party needs to be replaced w/ effective leadership the people trust will look out for them. Simple yet concrete communications from leadership between elections are needed

Absolutely
December 3, 2024 at 3:42 AM
I didn’t say that. My question is, has the dems offered/provided that?

But most younger voters are looking to begin their adult lives by owning property to live in, to afford at least a basic comfortable living standard, and to provide a good education for their children. Once their needs are assured, then they care about human rights and other social concerns.

The mainstream American middle class person NEEDS to know that someone is looking out for their best interest, not necessarily for an authoritarian. They are drawn to a strong communicator who invests a great deal of energy to speak to them in simple terms on how the politician is working for them.

I beg to differ that only the Republicans are supported by billionaires. How did Kama’s campaign get billions? It’s there, but the DNC is too busy pursuing joy in place of clear transparency about steps being taken to fight corporate corruption and exploitation of the American people.

Usually, only few people know about Congress’ daily work to help the average middle class. Politicians tend to communicate while campaigning and it’s usually with vague or no strategic info to achieve goals. Instead, they need to communicate within elections with specific strategies taken.

Observing the dynamics of this election, targeted communication and reaching out to the average middle class Americans showing them HOW - what strategy you are taking to protect them from corporate greed is the most effective way to get their votes. Most people don’t know what measures are taken.
December 3, 2024 at 2:59 AM
The most effective approach is to communicate with and reach those who see that the government is not doing anything for them. The average American goes on about their daily business and don’t know about measures you are taking to protect them from corporate injustices or Bills you are trying pass.

AOC, you wrote here, “The RFK Jr / MAHA thing did resonate w/people. Naming big pharma, big ag, etc.
They’re a lying mess, but the words were there”

There is much talk about unifying the country, then let’s be transparent about having common goals and state your specific strategy NOW towards it.

Alexandria, my recommendation is to place your fixed attention on mass communication with your average, Joe who is more focused on concrete specific topics, do further groupthink exercises as you are doing here and describe in greater detail what specific measures you plan to take to remedy.

Let’s be fair. What about the democrats? How many are billionaires or millionaires? It would be interesting to know.

How can you identify bot posts?
November 30, 2024 at 8:46 AM
I sure hope not. Honestly, I think it’s better to have 2 platforms, one for dems, Bluesky, and another for republicans, X. Each member would feel “safe” from harsh criticism and abuse from the other party and thus ideas can better flourish from proper discussion.
