maybe eventually

the exploration aspect is probably just there because i have memorized hollow knight so well. but yeah, i still enjoyed exploration in silksong during the early-mid game, but the backtracking during the late game was pretty tedious.

Also the exploration doesnt feel as natural. i had to use an interactive map for like the last 15% of the game, while hollow knights completion just felt a lot more natural. i did 100% silksong and 112% hk and in comparison i feel like the completion experience was just a lot better in hk.

the fact that this game has been so hyped for so long seems to have instilled a very toxic mindset in the community of "no, there cant be flaws. we have anticipated this so much, so anybody pointing out flaws obviously just needs to git gud."
