No tent light needed

I have learned that it’s “Black Company”, not Black Brigade. Learning about the levels of government. Learned 2 Viking gamboling games that I already forgot the names of. Learned that Black Company is so dang full of love. I’m honored to have been welcomed by them this weekend.

Chilled the rest of the afternoon. Court was cool. A camp dog got an award!!!! I got included in the boat crew awards 🥹

Holy cow it was too hot today. Had fun tho!

Helped crew a boat to drop off soldiers for the first fight!

Just heard “there’s no armor check for a crazed peasants with rocks”

STAY HYDRATED!

Night 1 = success! Got to the perfect level of chilly, breakfast was eggs, bacon, potatoes, delicious! Hung out with the black brigade and it’s adorable how when other people enter the camp they ask permission. Loving the culture here! Inspections and announcements completed.

At the mist/cyn war for the first time. Fascinating so far. Tent was missing the rain fly, and the air mattress was giving us trouble. Company mate had an extra, and FP figured out the mattress. FP’s patience and kindness is wonderful. His friends are kind and generous. Feeling good so far 💖
