In one, I’m a Greek goddess leaping over the land, gracefully felling foes with superhuman agility. Quests, minimap, skills.

In the other, I’m a doughy oaf, face down in muddy water, unable to string stumbling steps together.

The climbing video game Jusant is beautiful, it’s meditative. Above all though, it’s tasteful and restrained - colours, music, gameplay, story.

Has quietly won me over in a big way.

Old computer game called ‘Twinworld’ really unsettled me, and was as hard as nails.

The Talos Principle 2 features by far the most architecturally interesting virtual spaces I've ever seen. Lots and lots of them.

#Undertale: The Determination Symphony at H'smith Apollo, produced by Lambert Jackson & @materiamusic.com, was absolutely stupendous — & I don't even really 'get' Undertale.

The ensemble was on fire & the conductor-MD-arranger understood the assignment.

Best VG concert with visuals I've been to.

Holy moly, the Tunic vinyl soundtrack box set from @mangomagerecords.bsky.social is now the most beautiful thing in my house (my wife excepted). What an insane, insane package for what already is, for me, a G.O.A.T. video game OST.
