They can already reject Trump's idiotic notions. In fact, they did when they resisted dropping interest rates as quickly as he wanted. Hassett is without a doubt the most incompetent person talking about the economy, which is saying something since Kudlow is still around.

Tourism to the US is down $30 billion. That's not gonna help the job numbers, or the GDP, or Trump's approval rating domestically or internationally.

As predictable a result as the sun shining. FWIW, I will never let MAGA (or the people who didn't vote) forget this.

Promised $2 trillion budget reduction & $5k checks to everyone as a result of the savings. Instead, he put tens of thousands out of work & made our critical info FAR less safe, while saving less than $10 billion. I'd hate to see what he thinks "complete failure" is.

Serious question: why send astronauts on a trip that takes at least 6-months one-way to ascertain the same information that can be ascertained by sending robots? It sounds cool, but so does a livable Earth. 🤷‍♂️

Kevin Hassett is awful as Director of the National Economic Council. That Trump is considering him to replace Jerome Powell as Fed Chair is absolutely horrifying. Hassett is a complete incompetent. For a refresher, his predictions about COVID deaths were 💩

Trump's Treasury Department is bragging that because of Trump's economic policies, t-bills are having their best year since 2020. Could someone inform these clowns that people primarily invest in t-bills when economic times are dire. For evidence, note that 2020 was the COVID year.

As expected, it's not bad enough that Trump's "peace plan" for Ukraine has a large serving of grift. War profiteering was a serious felony at one point in our history but Trump and the GOP regularly make criming a policy choice.

One thing that can ALWAYS be counted on is MAGA not knowing what they are talking about before commenting. For example, they always say things were worse under Biden, when almost universally they were better, and when it wasn't it was only temporary. With Trump? Not so much.

Trump will be removed after the mid-terms, either through impeachment or the 25th amendment. A lot of GOP will be a part of it. But then what? What is the plan to replace what Trump destroyed? What we had? That's what created the problem. The Dems must evolve!

Not that 10 deaths over a 3-year period isn't tragic for the families involved, but from a mathematical perspective this is about as stupid a take on vaccine safety as one could conjure. This is 10 deaths from 600+ million doses administered. Fucking idiots.

If you can give away $6.2 billion to pump up yet another Trump scam (it puts money into the stock market using children so the economy doesn't look as bad as it is, plus it gives money to hedge funds who manage these accounts), then you can afford to pay more in taxes.
