Camping in the Mojave for a few days to save money on lodging for our little trip and I’m so enamored with the fact that Chip lowkey has a little ledge for us to put our stuff on as we sleep with his back seats down … imagine hating Prius Cs, couldn’t be me.

The best wooden coaster I’ve done! I don’t like them very much but it was very smooth and so long. It jerks you for sure but not as much as others. Worth what I waited ( 1.5 hrs ) because of how long it was too! Very refreshing to do, I loved the head choppers a lot and how the track interacted

That’s all because of Knotts Scary Farm closing the park early, but we might go back as our passes get us in free! Super cute park, really loved the theming. The ghost town area was my favorite and felt so rich with things to do. Felt like an old park in the best way. Wish I’d brought money to shop!

This ride always has a very long line because of the long duration and only two trains being in use. I don’t like woodies so I was skeptical, but WOW. Not too forceful but still whippy. Long and fun. Favorite woodie ever!!

First coaster of the day! Haven’t had the best luck with Gerstlauers so I’m really glad I ended up liking this one! Buttery smooth and I like the almost-stalls. Beautiful looking coaster, I love compact ride footprints.

Me too!!! The physical sets felt so rich. I’m such a sucker for original IP and this was a masterclass in how you don’t need a huge bombastic concept to make a really solid ride :)

First ride of the day was Calico Mine Co! This is easily one of the densest dark rides I’ve ever done, super immersive and beautiful. Reminds me a lot of Mine Train Through Nature’s Wonderland, which I never got to experience! I love regional dark rides like this.

Reminder: I’m out of town until the 14th! Working on art but I’m spending time with my long distance boyfriend on a pre-planned trip so it’s on a “when I want to” basis. ( Which is often, I love drawing! )

When I return I’m done traveling for awhile! Expect queuebusting and my store reopening.
