I think it's good to remember that when we ratified the Constitution. Abortion was LEGAL in every state. While NOT encouraged, every state governed abortion thru English Common law and it was legal until quickening (1st movement 16-20 wks). After that, most states considered it a misdemeanor.

Isn't this is too lax?. ICE is an immigration/customs agency, NOT general law enforcement w/ police authorities. They have EXTREMELY LIMITED AUTHORITY over US citizens.. and can only act on citizens in country if they see a federal crime or a federal felony, or enforcing a judicial warrant.

This is good on the one hand, but this transition is almost entirely paid for by Norway pumping and selling massive amounts of fossil fuels. ~48% of their export revenue and vast majority of their large $1.8T sovereign wealth fund is from fossil fuel sales.

Finally! US obesity was ~13.5% in 1980 (same as EU), but now 41%. Starting w/Reagan's sugar subsidies/incentives ,we pumped sugar (and chemicals) into EVERYTHING. We now consume ~17tsp of sugar a day, ~10 too many. Sugar is 8x addictive to cocaine. We mfg'd fat/sick people to profit out of.
