On Monday the Federal Circuit heard cases at Suffolk and I got the opportunity to sit in. It was amazing and it made me wish that everyone got such an opportunity to see what courts (who aren't Judge Judy) and lawyers (who aren't on Suits) do.

The recent ICE raid which emptied an entire apartment building was apparently at the request of Wells Fargo, which is trying to foreclose on the building.

The building is in a 27 million dollar foreclosure filed by Wells Fargo. The next day, Wells Fargo filed an emergency motion for receivership. The fascist regime kindly emptied the building for donor Wells Fargo.

It's Tuesday and while the government may be shut down, the Patent Office is still open and churning out a new 1,381 design patents for our enjoyment and critique, including D1096067 issued for a pocket tie.

The disclaimed fireworks are a nice touch.

D1096916 issued for a device mounting system for retention on an upright object.

100% this is a belt with hooks. I may mock the bad titles, but never underestimate how important the title is to a design patent.
