Employers don't want you to stay until 70. Your salary is too high and they can hire someone younger and less expensive. They find a way to push you out.

Most likely, any pain is from swelling, so pamper yourself for a few days with ice and rest! Take care!

I filed for retirement benefits in November. Still waiting to hear. My employee did an incentive retirement to get rid of us retirement age folks. I worry I'm going to have to find another job at my age.
