Why now? Don't they want the brave z bloggers to report the collapse of the front line?
February 10, 2026 at 2:31 PM
Correct. They give gift articles on important stories because they get more subscribers after, not because they care about the national interest.

Relieving them of their natural resources. Which makes me wonder how Xi will react to the US trying to muscle in to their vasel state.
February 8, 2026 at 12:26 PM
My guess is that it's sanctioned. They evaded to get the terminals but is he evading by providing service?
February 5, 2026 at 8:47 AM
Indeed. That ship has already sailed.

I think they've almost cracked it. Make those loans self certified and then everyone can buy a house. Stand your men down General, #waronthecounyryside won't be needed after all.

The main point here is that they are using that UKR won't hit them with drones so as not to upset Turkey.
February 2, 2026 at 8:51 AM
The difference is between passage of exclusive economic zones covered by UNCLOS and territorial waters. Both are complicated legally but easier to stop the latter.
February 2, 2026 at 8:48 AM
That's really point I was trying to make.
February 2, 2026 at 7:59 AM
We know all grain stolen from UKR passes through Turkish waters. We know how much oil and gas they buy and how many Russians holiday there. They might still get minor benefits from NATO so they straddle the fence but look at all those ships they don't stop.
February 2, 2026 at 7:53 AM
It is only an opinion buy I think Erdoğan would have realined towards Russia and rebuilding Turkey as a regional power regardless of Trump.
February 2, 2026 at 7:37 AM
I bet the deal would have been done without NATO. How many NATO countries are buying S400 air defence systems?
February 2, 2026 at 7:34 AM
Yeah, but in essence, Turkey is still strategically important to NATO, but Erdogan has made it unnecessary for Turkey. Hence allowing Russia free passage of Turkish territorial waters while it is at war with Europe.
February 2, 2026 at 7:31 AM
No. It's a mutual defence pact against the Soviet now Russian threat. Turkey has made friends and business with them now so it doesn't need NATO anymore.
February 2, 2026 at 7:24 AM
I bet they haven't seen any of those pesky British ones either.
February 2, 2026 at 5:34 AM
My point wasn't that the US is a dictatorship, but that Congress has largely abdicated its role of providing checks and balances to executive power. That video made me imagine seeing them put on ICE uniforms and chanting a few years from now.
February 2, 2026 at 3:04 AM
That's the idea but I'm asking what is still in it for them now?
