There aren’t any high rises currently under construction, correct? Not counting that Neutral project debacle.

My guess is that they are hedging their bets and and putting in extra parking in case any sort of Amtrak and or other transit station is built there. Entices the city with more space for the station and the private entity gets to keep the parking revenue.

Prime example of democrats continuing to insist on playing with one set of rules while republicans play with another. If he thinks for 1 millisecond that repubes wouldn’t have shut them out of the budget process if they’d had enough votes, he is sorely mistaken and respectfully………..an idiot.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Kash-App Patel and the FBI already have a fairly good idea of who the killer is but it doesn’t fit the narrative they want.

Returning them to Borealis makes the most sense in allowing redistribution of other rolling stock. The superliners can go back to LD service. Then give Mardi Gras 2 Amfleets once enough Airos are on the Cascades, send the rest of the Amfleets back to NEC.

Not a permanent solution but, repeal the minimum markup law on gasoline (should drop the price/gallon 4-5 cents), and raise the gas tax 4 or 5 cents, with all that revenue directed to mass transit in the state. Probably looking at over $140 million/year in new transit revenue for the state.

I’m excited for whenever it returns back, assuming it will get tacked into the Empire Builder and we can get a chance to see it.

It’s made its way to Chicago already as of this morning.

The irony of all this is that the developer is a hard-core Republican.

I can’t find any info on Missouri buying more equipment so I’m assuming it’s got to be a Lincoln service train getting extended.

I had heard a rumor that 8 or so horizons were taken to Alstom to see if they could be repaired. I have literally no idea if there’s any truth to it.
