Schlep isn't alone in his behavior. Chris Hansen, creator of TCaP and similar shows, likely didn't foresee the real issues his programs would create. Hansen and Schlep encouraged amateur vigilante groups, which often operate recklessly and can cause more harm than good. (3/?)

Did the officials ever say yes or no about whether they're associated with them? I can't find anywhere that Schlep has been praised for that.

Your red herrings won’t change the fact—look at the FBI’s Operation Restore Justice (205 arrests in 2025), which shows the right approach. Compare that to the 2014 Maryland case, where an innocent was harmed. It’s better for 10 criminals to escape than one innocent be condemned—due process matters.
