Maybe I'm just extra cranky abt this because I know /I/ sure hate when other people call me by someone else's name for a 'joke', so having it done to a character I've carefully made and put a lot of love into makes me livid.

Like, no, it's not funny! It's not a joke, guys, i'm not fucking laughing! It's making me stressed out like hell that I can't share my OCs with 'friends' because I get the same 'joke' of 'haha it's [character] again!'. You wonder why I don't share shit with you? This is why.
