Yes, Switzerland is considering not ramming five billion francs worth of 1960’s asphalt through the middle of Basel and St. Gallen, by popular referendum.
And the referendum (NEIN here) looks like it might make it.

Yes, Switzerland is considering not ramming five billion francs worth of 1960’s asphalt through the middle of Basel and St. Gallen, by popular referendum.
