I shoot my interpretations of scenes along entire routes of trails - in whatever light and weather encountered.

Yesterday was my first day this trip #hiking in #Colorado, and some stubborn large clouds kept covering the sun on a very partly sunny day. Eventually they parted some, & the sun/cloud/shadow mix made a nice backdrop (Meadow Mountain trail near Minturn).

Phil Rosenthal on guitar there has a couple of solo LPs that I like pretty well - he's got a good rich bluegrass voice and is a talented picker too on those albums, plus some very catchy original Americana type songs he wrote on those albums.

It is mostly but not all yellow and orange in Colorado. I like the mixed colors I've seen in the Appalachians & Midwest, though I haven't been to the NE in Fall. My favorite is the Wasatch in Utah, with an equally good mix of red, orange, yellow and green, but with mountains that blow away the NE.
