Eren sat on the stairs in Shiganshina, kicking loose pebbles down the shallow steps. Levi turned to see him there, confusion on his face. "This is a weird ass dream," Levi said, mildly. Eren looked up, his eyes blank for a moment, as if he was seeing something else entirely. He blinked and looked normal again, or at least as normal as Eren ever looked these days. "Is it a bad dream, Captain?" Eren asked, sitting up a little straighter on the stairs. Levi came to the bottom of the staircase and looked up at him, eyebrows knitted together. "Dunno yet," Levi answered. "What happens next?"

Annoyance furrowed Jinx's brow, too, a subconscious mirror of Silco's expression. For a moment, it threatened to tip into something else, something uniquely hers. The whirlwind of her presence could become a hurricane with very little warning. Silco let it come or not as it would; it wasn't as if he could really stop it anyway. All he could do was contain that storm until she needed him to do something else with it. But it passed. Her eyebrows raised up as she considered her answer. "'Kay," she said, hopping off his desk and all but skipping towards the door. She pulled it open, then leaned back so far she was looking at him upside down. "If you're late, I'm gonna be disappointed," she added in a sing-song. She was gone with a half-accidental slam of the door before he could blink, let alone answer her.

Hitoshi just stared at him, even when he felt some weird trepidation and wanted to look away. Then Aizawa stepped closer, leaned in, and pressed his lips against Hitoshi's. It wasn't like the kiss in the club, something down as a show of possession. It was exactly what Hitoshi wanted: a real kiss.
