I can see the wisdom of that. I think it leans into solving one problem while exacerbating another. The team is too small but they also don't have enough passing and dribbling. Brown is not a good lead playmaker. But there is no answer to that problem with this roster.

I've said this before but I think it will bear repeating throughout the season: in the modern NBA, you need shooting to win. Perimeter talent sets your ceiling. But your big man rotation sets the floor. This Celtics team's floor is in the sub-basement.
