That wouldn't really work - she'd just instant lose momentum in with her leg stuck in the air, no follow-through. And being able to detach the prosthetic quickly would still leave her with only one leg until she could recover and reattach it.

She lost her leg and found that after that, her powers don't work properly while she's wearing her prosthetic, because they automatically target the prosthetic. It's kind of a trauma thing. She's in therapy to try and get through it so she can be a superhero again.

So her power was literally - bracing. Anything she touched and concentrated on becomes immovable and indestructible, regardless of its position or if it's touching the ground or not. This didn't make HER indestructible and doesn't work on organic matter.
