These projects invest in core transit infrastructure like our control centre, passenger counter equipment & planning for software replacements. Anxiously waiting for CPTF & excited to collaborate! Thank you #yegcc. 👏

I may have celebrated a little loudly from our meeting room at the garage when this passed. I had no idea how it was going to go. Whew. 🙏

Just to clarify, it maintains base cleaning levels by custodial staff (e.g. once a day station cleaning). Today's cleaning levels are enhanced by temporary funding that expires end of Dec (e.g. more frequent station cleaning throughout day & overnight). They will debate that request tomorrow.

Yikes! Also, I imagine our voices at 2x speed would be kinda funny to listen to. 😂

Crosstown routes are very, very well used. Sorry you were squished on your trip.

The worst.

We need more funding tools for municipalities & consistent, predictable funding including all levels of govt. Past land use decisions, # & age of assets, etc stretch us very thin. There are change makers within admin, we exist. 😁

Thank you. I'm a rider first & have been long before I started to work in transit. I share the frustrations, am trying to fix things (working with Council) & am listening. Listening to our operators, too, as they have great feedback. Cycling is really important for my mental health.

We are working to resolve that, we have an unfinished space in an existing building that can be converted for it. We have a budget request that gets debated with fall SCBA/SOBA in a couple of weeks. It will leverage federal $$ to offset the cost. 🤞

Current network needs 100 buses to meet minimum standards- then more to go above. We can scale up when we have storage/maintenance space for the new buses in the garage, if we have the $$. Most of ETS leadership team uses transit, we're spread across city.

That's a great Q. Most of it is due to lack of a garage to be able to scale up service. There is a growth garage in the works but a few yrs away. When it opens, it will have been 20 yrs since last growth garage. 😬 1/2
