I have looked into it and trans people are still protected under the sex reasignment category and you still cn't exclude trans people from a space without a reason.

No you're not. When someone says "you need gender dysphoria to be trans", they are talking about the reason why you transitioned, even if transitioning cured the gender dysphoria.
