The only meaningful connection with students is in a discussion board or a once a week curated video lecture. Students can punt their way all the way through that. Unless they really try, they aren’t learning - they’re completing. You see the results in their classrooms.

While convenient for many professionals, the online degree programs became an obvious money maker to higher ed and turned into a whole thing. Now they can pump out designed and canned content, pay an adjunct pennies to babysit, and rake in $300-900/crh to boot.

Translation: they want their planes back so they can go home for the holidays and fundraise off the “fact” that they made a deal to reopen the government and blame the other side. Nothing meaningful will change and folks will still starve, suffer, and (try to) fund their own healthcare. It’s BS.

Gee, I’m still struggling to find name tags. Odd. And there seem to be lots of weapons pointed at people and CS gas when there shouldn’t be. Could’ve sworn there was a court order or something about that.

It started off rotten and just tried to shine up its outsides.

To get to a food pantry and wait hours and hours. It all takes a toll on people who are already paying a higher price with their bodies and minds than the average person.

That damage, that ongoing and so avoidable damage, is the crime here.
