I tried plugging the purple wire into the green port, but it didn't fit. Now that I think about it, the yellow wire might fit there.

Planning has it's benefits, especially for those GMs with tons of terrain and minis, but the improv GM can start a game out of nowhere, which helps when everyone just happens to be around and you just got that itch to roll some dice.

I am the latter, but as a player I have no strong preference.

Filthy?!?, I'll have you know I showered last month!

That is neat. During the last hardware survey Linux was at 3% total. Hitting 5% across all games would be a huge win.
Thanks to Proton everything just works.

I am starting to see more people looking into a Linux rig. Many of them are just waiting for their next PC to make the switch.

It's not a zine, but I will be using Gamefound for Quest Nexus and having Compose Dream Games do fulfillment.

As someone who has backed a ton of Kickstarters, the big thing I suggest is having the game ready for the printer before crowdfunding.
Patience is rare and reputations are easy to ruin.

I can make my own rules, but a very well written, system neutral campaign setting would be nice.

This is still something that I want to do, but I have to find the right time and place to do it.
I also don't want to commit $1,000 and only get 3 entries, so I need more visibility first.

Animal companions, familiars, risen undead from the necromancer and pets in general usually add work for the GM.

In my experience most players treat them mechanically rather than as a narrative tool.

I allow it and even build rules for it, but I would be fine getting rid of pets in RPGs.

Quest Nexus has 172 pieces. It is expensive, but art takes time and artists need to be paid.

I had an idea for a game with no art at all, but that idea is a fair way down the road.

Taking a break is necessary sometimes. Jumping between projects can help with the monotony, but you will still find yourself being pulled in too many directions.

You started a national movement. That is enough to exhaust anyone.
Enjoy your rest. We will all be here when you return.

I do like that you are showcasing some of the weird stuff. In the first season I correctly guessed every game you were going to discuss.

While I am familiar with many of the recent games, I do enjoy seeing the lesser known stuff get the spotlight.

I am looking forward to the 2 player games.
