I did it! I finished High Fantasy Mass Effect: The Veilguard as much as I could! It was a good game.
The game is set up basically like Mass Effect 2 was. it's a very familiar feeling.
I like the combat. Chaining detonations is fun!
Would i have preferred a more CRPG-y approach than ARPG? Maybe.

Swords & Serpents for the NES. And yes i most definitely got the game purely for the box-art. I had no idea what type of game I was getting. I had a lot of papers with passwords after a while. A "Save was 5 different passwords" And "loading" was inputting all of those.

If you ever decide to play Mario & Luigi: Brothership the scenes featuring this particular explamation mark will haunt your nightmares forever! Because it will show up approximately 9123412456021374 times during a regular playthrough. And it's a frustratingly long mini-cutscene every time.

This was one of the early games I got for my NES. I did not understand a lot of english and never made it very far in the game until I was older and finally got a clue how to play. It wasn't until PS1 and Final Fantasy VII I truly started to get into the genre proper however.
