I had a buddy in elementary school whose very-religious mother wouldn’t allow any games in her house that contained the word “magic” in them, because she believed the game to then be Satanic. EarthBound and its PSI powers were fine, though.

A few years back, regularly when waking up my kids in the morning for school, I would queue up this song on my phone at max volume and slide it under their door as a wake-up call.

Bret Hart vs Steve Austin at Wrestlemania 13. Extremely high quality match on a technical level, once in a lifetime on a story level. Hart walks in the hero, leaves the villain. Austin enters the heel, leaves the face. And it’s where Stone Cold’s hot streak REALLY took off.

I won’t lie, I don’t really even want BG&E2 anymore at this point. I can’t imagine it would even be a proper sequel these days. More likely some awful hybrid of Assassin’s Creed and Starlink.
