ICE took Pretti’s licensed firearm from him and ran it away from the altercation before the first shot was fired - being able to see this angle means that the administration can’t say that Pretti fired first and ICE shot back in self defense. He was effectively unarmed when they executed him.

Agreed. He’s not polling better on immigration because his base actually cares about the issue; it’s because it doesn’t immediately affect them. Every other issue directly touches their lives and they know they’re worse off for it.

I mean, Pew Research, NYT, the Atlantic, AARP, Brittanica, Brookings Institute, the Federal Reserve, Bloomberg, Washington Post, Forbes, Time, and Harvard Joint Center for Housing Studies put the earliest cutoff at 1980 - with some as late as 1984.
