It's kinda crazy though since they advertised FSR so much, and even updated to FSR 3. Supposedly FSR 4 was on the way but ofc they went radio silent on that haha. It's on AMD's FSR "Redstone" list, but it's weirdly absent lol. I don't get why it's on the list.But either way, thanks for all the help!

Also fixed CP2077 by using an AMD specific mod and replacing XeSS DLLs to enable XeSS 2.1.1 and Intel frame gen and it runs so smooth now it blows my mind (because AMDs frame gen and FSR made everything feel worse for a weird reason). idk why Intel's tech works better for me 😂

Things seem to have stabilized a bit. I locked my card to the Mhz that my card is advertised for (Adrenalin placed the max a bit higher) and enabled a few different things in bios following a guide I found.

Only experience I have with over/underclocking is trying the auto overclock AMD offers causing my PC to not boot anymore (which jokes on me, probably shouldn't rely on any "auto" tools

Yeah it said in the device manager that the driver wasn't working properly and was disabled. It's just scary when the entire PC freezes and won't unfreeze lol. What do you mean by the AMD reference card?

I have the XFX Speedster Merc310 if that's what you're asking for? And yeah, that's what I tried after the second time and it worked after a couple tries. But I was annoyed and rolled back because I figured it would keep happening lol. Gonna mention too that the AMD app crashes constantly. All vers.

Tried to keep this as detailed and as short as possible but still took 3 posts unfortunately. I've used the AMD cleanup utility for one of the installs too, to make sure I've tried everything I know of other than completely reinstalling Windows. Temps always look fine, never more than like 75ish

I've even used DDU to completely remove AMD and re-install as fresh as I can, and it happened twice. Rolled back to 25.9.1 and it's mostly fine, no system crashes but causes driver timeouts in Cyberpunk, though tbf that could very well be caused by my 700+ mods 😂 I don't fault my card for that one.

Well, the newest driver (25.12.1) causes my PC to crash after a few days after installation. It'll work perfectly, then it'll freeze my whole PC. Once I force a shutdown and come back, Windows has disabled the GPU and makes me use a generic driver using my integrated graphics with one monitor.

Same, I have a 7900XTX and I should theoretically be fine for quite a while, though AMD's drivers cause me so many issues but looks like I'll have to deal with it lol

I just feel like developers (or publishers most likely) should bring back demos, especially if they're worthwhile demos. Idk if it actually would stop any piracy, but it would definitely help me decide if a game is worth it 😅
