Anyway Maximus was my favorite character and storyline in S1, I'm very nervous given how much more fan attention has gone towards ✨️The Ghoul✨️. But the contrarian in me gets suspicious whenever a show/movie/game etc seems to REALLY want you to like a character AND (crucially) think they're cool

Fallout season 1 was such a well-crafted blend of homages and new character stories....and then the first 15 min of s2 throws a dizzying number of beloved easter egg references to the games that honestly just comes off incoherent

reading any Calendar of State Papers from 300+ years ago is such a treat for people who love gossip about people they don't know (me). absolutely scathing commentary delivered in formal, polite tones with "your most humble servant" kinda obsequiousness peppered in there...immaculate 👌

"that one girl in high school" i knew IMMEDIATELY what this was gonna be because the memory of a girl in my history class decorating her poster on "💝✨️the r*** of Nanking ✨️💝" still makes me so angry to this day!!!
