Of course... my gate in Tokyo is the furthest possible gate. And I think in Toronto it will be the same. At least there are no stairs. Tomorrow... back to a normal number of daily steps and taking stairs because I want to (I won't want to), not because I have to.

Went back to Tokyo Skytree. A little better today but very hazy in the direction of Mt Fuji. Interesting to see the different conditions depending on the direction of view. I guess I should have arrived even earlier; maybe the sun would have been more in my favour.

Japan will be living even more into the future when this launches. This ad is outside Shinagawa Station, one of the main Shinkansen stations in Tokyo.
I just recently did the Tokyo-Osaka trip and it took 143 minutes. 67 minutes is insane. Osaka/Kyoto will become day trips from Tokyo.

Lots of different public rail services available in Japan; Shinkansen (bullet train), airport express, local transit. Many cities, like Tokyo seen here, have very extensive transit systems.

I went to the top of Tokyo Skytree. It wasn't the best idea to go late afternoon as the best view was almost straight into the sun. It did however provide this view. That's Mt Fuji in the distance. Might try again one morning; still three left before heading home.
