I've read a lot on the topic and I do understand how you feel. I also am from an island, Syros so I get the emotional response. Unfortunately, you have one family that owns a majority of the island's land but we have our elected politicians and their selfish agendas to blame for that.

2/The scale of land ownership and promises made/broken should be the focus of your concern not a post about the 3 best hotels (of which Calilo is.) My goals in writing about luxury hotels are never political in any way, and if you bothered to read the post, you would know my focus was on another.

1/Maybe you should look at the politicians and who actually allowed anything like that to happen. And before you tell me I don't know what I am talking about, know this: I'm Greek, raised in Athens and understand how corruption leads to these things happening.
