Sure but not the averages or homers which got him in. Just accept that your hero cheated.

Then you can argue that Bonds benefited from having Kent behind him. I am probably older than you and saw Bonds. The guy changed monumentally from roids

Kent was an all star twice after he left the Giants. Also he batted behind Bonds and thus can't be stated to have had his protection in the line-up. You can accuse any player of cheating but we all knew Bonds did - to such an extreme that his head grew in size.

Also Kent tended to hit behind Bonds in the lineup.

There is no telling how well Kent would have done with another hitter behind him. Speculation is pointless. If it wasn't, Mattingly would be in.

You cannot determine how much a player benefited from another. All you can determine are that stats you see and if they cheated. Kent followed the rules while the character clause keeps out Bonds and Clemons as it should.

You sure can. It's not Kent's fault that Bonds cheated. It does seem an important statement to the other cheaters out there.

It's obvious why. Why are people still pretending like they don't understand why people are not voting in Bonds, Clemons, or Sheffield.

Would love to interview you about it!

As a fellow white-passing Jew, I am also so white that it would feel disingenuous to not acknowledge it and recognize that I benefit from it.

I'm debating whether "Father of Mine" by Everclear is racist. Lyrics "to be a scared white boy in a black neighborhood."
