Any investment firm purchasing single-family homes should be taxed at 30,000% of their overall value and assets to discontinue this practice. They are destroying the housing market through price manipulation.

In a lot of states you are taxed on your assets, including vehicles owned. Since vehicles typically depreciate, you still have to pay taxes against it, but it adjusts for the current value. So the “out of pocket” might be lower from the previous year, but the percentage stays the same.
