Casting Teri Hatcher as his mom is still some of the best casting the show has done.

I mean look at Doctor Who, Russel T Davies has even said its about that "viral" moment, he isn't striving for good story telling, he wants flashy moments that can reuploaded online for quick easy digestion. And his latest run has been garbage because of it.

Which is a shame, cause Sentai always has great storytelling and I hate saying it, but storytelling has really gone to the waste side in the last 10-15 years. With tiktok attention spans now, actual good stories are not being produced.

I've seen some clips where its all just an actor on a greenscreen or half the characters are digitally created. I get they are trying to keep up with trends and attract kids, but honestly it has lost a lot of charm.

Personally, I would just love a streaming channel that has them all in one spot. I don't think it would be this amazing ground breaking money maker of a service, but have all of Power Rangers, Sentai and other Tokusatsu shows in one place, free with ads (paid no ads), I think it would do alright.

Yeah, that is a fair point about cost. I think it might have been a good way to show there is international desire for the franchise, and its great that all these people watch it, but torrenting or streaming it from unofficial sources doesn't help Toei (which I think hardcore fans forget...)

I know Roku has a bunch of Sentai to watch, but I think its just all the stuff that Shout Factory has licensed.
