"[I may have been on] the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one."

I heard this quote 18 years ago, and it still stays with me after all this time.

Winning doesn't make you right, and we shouldn't do something wrong just so we can win.

It may not be whole hog, but I tried to bring a little east Carolina #bbq to Texas tonight.

DC, your last decade of #Superman films was criticized for being mopey, dark, and inconsistent with the character. And then *this* is the thumbnail for your trailer to reboot the character?

The trailer itself is great. I want to see the movie. But this image isn't doing the film any favors.

Before anything else today, I wanted to take a moment to give thanks to God for my wonderful wife. The last year has had their challenges, but there is no one in the world I would rather go through them with. And every obstacle has been worth it for the blessings, especially baby J.

Another #hotsauce experiment, just in time for #thanksgiving. Habaneros, bell peppers, ginger, and garlic, all roasted; finished with cider vinegar, nutmeg, and cinnamon. It turned out really well. In fact, my family and friends loved it so much, this is the last bottle.

I said in my last post that I would share some of my hot sauce experiments. Here's my favorite batch of this year: aged blend of Fresno and habanero, along with ginger, garlic, onion, and carrot. It turned out surprisingly mild, but a great flavor. #hotsauce

I harvested a kilo of serranos today, plus another quarter kilo of fresnos, and I need suggestions on what to do with them. Any ideas? I'll share my current projects in another post. #peppers #gardening
