Sure but they likely booked the venue months before that. Just over a year ago I went to the Owen Finals at the Calgary Saddledome with the half-arena setup. There was like 3500 people in attendance and it looked kinda pathetic. I don't blame them for being a bit conservative with their projections.

Can't say for certain if this was my first show but it is the earliest one I remember.
Definitely remember the Bulldogs and Honky. Also a match brawling into the seats next to us, scaring the shit out of 6 year old me.
