Casemiro, Bruno and Mainoo in a midfield three. Front 3 of Mbeumo, Amad and then Cunha or Sesko. The problem will be who’s at right back though.

Before Guehi, it's half a billion spent on 10 new players in the last 12 months (6 first teamers have left in that time). Guardiola claimed in May he'd quit if the club didn't reduce the size of his squad. Anyone care to pick him up on it?

It’s been so transparent from the very beginning. Their desperation for publicity and attention is shameless whilst their choice of group name is/was classless.

As unrealistic as it sounds, had Fergie argued against the sale, he would have had all the fans onside as one and rather than just a small, vocal minority protesting, it could have been enough to stop it (like it was with Sky).

Threadbare squad yes but why did he change back to a back 5 after playing well (and winning) v Newcastle? Also, moving Dorgu back to the left after a very good performance on the right wing? Also bringing on Fletcher (a centre mid) on the right wing when he had a young winger on the bench?

Don't agree about the fans having patience. Certainly not the majority of the match going ones anyway. Wolves was the first time there was large scale booing at full time and no one can argue he didn't deserve it after that
