There are two options: Either he (&his ilk) is an "useful idiot" who truly believes in these bullshit ideas or he's being paid by elites to spew "what if, instead of promoting actual popular policies, we do this bullshit". That's why he's in the spotlight, not someone who actually has great ideas.

I was in the middle of being raptured but the escalator broke. They said they're going to fix it as soon as they fix the teleprompter in the UN. Good thing the woman in front of me was fit, both of us would've tumbled back down. Imagine the embarrassment! Still waiting 🤞

First he made him president twice and now he blew him off? Guess we owe Leno an apology, the Presidential Kneepads are a real thing after all!

If you pitch it as a "FF" movie, I'm sure Vin Diesel would eventually make it.

So a guy named Andrew is envisioning a New City with a logo of a crown? Where did I see that before? 🤔 Probably nothing bad can come out of this...

Few weeks ago I bought what I thought was a monitor stand. I have asked Rufus, can the height be adjusted and it suggested I could get high by drinking the correct mixture of red and yellow detergent! Who said AI isn't useful!?

While a normal person has a plan and a end goal, Musk is catastrophically absent of any coherent end goals, so anything that catches his daily attention becomes the goal. You want a successful car (measured in money/sales/accolades), Musk wants to be cool-something which cannot be precisely defined.

I think the biggest error in commenting about Musk & Tesla, (and Trump in a wider picture) is presuming (or projecting) there is some kind of strategy *and* ultimate goal of universal success. Success can be something entirely different to a madman, and more important, it can be totally chaotic.

Jobs also famously avoided everything not-Apple related so he wasn't a cornucopia of media interests, so Elon "ham-fisting my man-child ideas into everything and everyone" Musk was the hero the media wanted.

People/media at the time were also already primed by Steve Jobs, a tech "revolutionary genius" but also a bit too much of an asshole so the world wanted a tech visionary genius but more likeable. Boy did it backfire horribly...

Sounds like the title of the chapter in The Hobbit where Bilbo, in the depths of Gollums cave, put on the Ring for the first time?

We would be having brunch if only Biden hadn't forgotten to motorboat Sydney Sweeney at the debate. Ruthsydney Forseweeny!

Maybe Google invented a Predestination AI, which states the numbers you'll have after this goes viral? Anyway if a lady strikingly similar to you appears, raw dog her or you'll delete yourself from existence! I'm following you to prove my theory!

It took NASA 13 Apollos to make a Hollywood blockbuster with Tom Hanks, so Musk still has 2 tries left to land a hit with... I dunno? Kevin Sorbo and Rob Schneider?
