I’ve always thought this was devastating. Repeating the lies is precisely what liars want. Psychologically, we know what that does… even when you correct them after. Information that’s repeated, sticks. Whether we like it or not.

I encounter one every time I drive. But it’s usually just a few of the dozens or hundreds of cars around me. I try to remember they are actually a small but annoying presence.

Moving and job change are in the top stressors of life. Having them both forced on you (moving less so but seemingly still forced) is incredibly difficult. Don’t be so hard on yourself. You deserve better support and you’re more likely to find it where you’re going. The in between times suck ❤️‍🩹
